The 2015 Edinburgh Festival runs 7th August to 31 August and includes performances by over 2,300 artists across classical music, opera, theatre and dance.
Among the highlights this year are concerts including a performance of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons by Anne-Sophie Mutter, Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring conducted by Valery Gergiev, Mozart’s The Magic Flute performed by the Budapest Festival Orchestra and performances by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra and Scottish Opera.
This year’s festival also boasts plenty of big-name soloists including pianists Lang Lang and Yuja Wang, percussionist Colin Currie and pianist Rudolf Buchbinder.
