The new track includes vocals by Zyrah, a brand-new group of four female singers (pictured above ) with a passion for the music of film and video games.

Zyrah were totally unknown until two weeks ago when they released their first single, Assassin’s Creed , which went straight to No.1 in the Classical iTunes chart. They will release their second single on Christmas Eve, a new version of I See Fire by Ed Sheeran from the soundtrack to The Hobbit.

Assassin’s Creed Revelations is a 2011 video game set in 13th-century Syria, 16th-century Constantinople and the modern-day United States. The original soundtrack was composed by Jesper Kyd and Lorne Bafle.

Zyrah’s new track is a reworking of the Assassin’s Creed Theme by Bafle – one of the most popular main themes in the series. Classic FM’s John Suchet will play the new song during his morning show on 22 December.
