German operatic tenor Jonas Kaufmann (born 10 July 1969) has sung a  leading roles of  Wagner repertoire. This is Kaufmann’s 5th solo album on Decca – specially recorded for the Wagner anniversary year. This disc confirms Jonas Kaufmann as the pre-eminent Wagnerian tenor of his generation. This  his magnificent performances of an excellent and varied selection of items from Wagner’s works, the interpretations of each piece are sublime. There, Kaufmann and Wagner is a great classic combination.
